brahmataltrekpackage.com is run by BanBanjara Travels LLP, a Jaipur-registered adventure travel firm that has been organising treks in Uttarakhand since 2021. This particular website is our winter home — dedicated entirely to the Brahmatal Trek, so we can give it the attention a first-time snow trek deserves.
We're not a marketplace. Every batch you book here is run by our own trek leaders and camp staff, not sub-contractors. The invoice, the ground team, the safety brief and the after-trek call — all one company.
The Brahmatal Trek is beginner-friendly, but it's still a Himalayan winter route. Every design choice we make — group size, ratios, gear, food — is in service of getting you there and back safely with a good story.
Capped at 12 trekkers, with a minimum 1:6 staff ratio.
All batches led by AMSF/NIM-certified trek leaders with local experience.
Four-season tents, sleeping bags rated to –10°C, foam mattresses.
The website price is the invoice. No last-minute add-ons at base camp.
Higher treks like Roopkund and Kedartal are dramatic, but they're not for everyone's first winter. Brahmatal is different — the altitude is manageable, the trail is well-marked, the drive isn't gruelling, and yet you get all the things people come to the Himalayas for: frozen lakes, oak and rhododendron forests, and a summit morning with Trishul on one shoulder.
We chose to dedicate a whole team and a whole website to this one trek because it deserves that level of attention. December to March, our people are on the trail every week — we know the wind on the ridge, the difference between Bekaltal in mid-Jan and late-Feb, and which homestay in Lohajung has the warmest quilts.
